Summary of insurance ​​​​​​​

The insurance covers damages up to EUR 3,000 without deductible. If your items have a higher value, you will need your own insurance and Lainappi's insurance will cover the deductible. The insurance applies to private individuals and is entitled to you if the rent has been paid in Lainappi.

 

General insurance

Includes assets that cannot be replaced with a deductible and relates to compensation for sudden or unexpected damage. The maximum indemnity for general insurance is EUR 3,000 and the price is determined on the basis of the market value, including accessories.

• Deductible: Reimbursement for deductible is made with other insurance coverage when the product is damaged, lost or stolen. For example, with home insurance up to a maximum of EUR 1,000 per case.

• You cannot be reimbursed for both full and deductible insurance for a single loss.

 

Insurance does not compensate

• Scratches and abrasions that do not affect the usability of the product.

• Rents that include aircraft, weapons or parts of weapons, jewelery, watches, live animals, tobacco, alcohol, cash or securities.

• Damage that was known before the rent or at the beginning of the rent.

• Caravan, motorhome, jet ski, truck (weight over 3500kg) rentals. Check out the terms and conditions here .

• If the rent is not carried out in Lainappi or the terms & conditions of Lainappi have been violated.

 

Insurance Restrictions

• The insurance covers accidents that have occurred during the rental period.

• The insurance covers the leased property, including its accessories, up to a certain amount.

• The insurance is valid for a maximum of 90 days.

• The insurance is valid only in the Nordic countries.
